FIND YOUR STARTING POINT
A base grip affects the installed handle size and feel. Review dimensions and construction together, rather than choosing only by a soft or firm label.
Use the soft and comfort models as starting points for a cushioned hand-feel. Compare their actual thicknesses and installed sizes on your target handle.
The firm replacement-grip option is intended for a more structured feel. Review the surface and wrapping tension with your reference racket or paddle.
A mild-tack base grip combines its surface feel with the underlying construction. Evaluate it as a base layer, and with an overgrip if that is how it will be used.
SHORTLIST BY YOUR PROJECT
The ten RG entries span 1.10–1.90 mm. A soft label does not identify a single thickness, and two 1.80 mm models can have different intended feels. Use these comparisons to narrow the range.
RG-S01 is 1.20 mm and RG-S02 is 1.50 mm. Both list a 30 mm width and 1000 mm length, making them a useful starting pair when comparing thickness within the soft family.
Review on the sample: Use the same bare handle, overlap and wrapping tension. Record the finished handle circumference as well as subjective comfort.
All three list 1.80 mm thickness, 25 mm width and 1100 mm length. RG-F01 is the firm option; RG-S03 and RG-S04 sit in the soft family.
Review on the sample: Compare handle definition and compression. Ask for a sample and confirmed surface specification to distinguish the two soft models.
RG-C01 lists 1.10 × 30 × 1100 mm by thickness, width and length. RG-C02 lists 1.90 × 25 × 1100 mm. Both are comfort models, but their width and thickness differ.
Review on the sample: Do not attribute every difference in the wrapped handle to material softness. Check coverage and build-up because this pair changes two dimensions.

No. It is the grip material fitted directly around the handle as the base layer. It does not replace the structural handle itself.
Yes. If your product is intended to use both layers, compare the installed size and feel with the intended overgrip in place.
Use the target handle size, preferred feel and reference sample. A thicker grip adds more material, but its installed feel also depends on construction, stretch and overlap.
RG-C01, RG-P01, RG-S01 and RG-S02 list 30 mm widths. RG-C01 is 1100 mm long; the other three list 1000 mm. Check both measurements when transferring a grip to a new handle.
Both list a soft 1.80 mm profile at 25 × 1100 mm. RG-S03 is the quick-dry option for sweat-heavy sessions; RG-S04 is the sweat-wicking option for hot conditions and extended play. Compare both on the same handle and confirm the surface specification.
